Translation

Narada said: "Then, shaken from his place and dislodged from his seat, his mind trembling, struck by the fire of grief, his garland withered and his awareness lost, his crown and armlets fallen away, reeling, all his limbs gone slack, stripped of his ornaments and garments, invisible to them yet himself seeing and not seeing them again and again, emptied, with a vacant mind and about to fall to the surface of the earth, he thought: 'What evil, dharma-defiling thing have I conceived in my mind, that I have been dislodged from my place?' Even as the king pondered this, the kings, siddhas, and apsaras gathered there beheld Yayati, without support and cast down."
