Translation

"O mighty-armed one, each day I could destroy a portion of the Pandava army: ten thousand warriors and a thousand chariot-warriors by morning, O radiant one. Such is my share, as I reckon it. Armed and ever ready, in this manner I would destroy this great army within such a span of time, O Bharata. But if, standing in battle, I were to release the great astras that slay hundreds of thousands, I would destroy it within a month, O Bharata." Sanjaya said: "Having heard these words of Bhishma, King Duryodhana then asked Drona, the foremost of the line of Angiras."
