एवं व्यूढेष्व् अनीकेषु मामकेष्व् इतरेषु च ॥
कथं प्रहरतां श्रेष्ठाः संप्रहारं प्रचक्रिरे ॥

Dhritarashtra said: "When the armies of mine and of the enemy were thus arrayed, how did the best of warriors begin their clash?"
