मद्रेशं सादितं दृष्ट्वा सौभाद्रेणाशुगै रणे ॥
शल्याद् अवरजः क्रुद्धः किरन् बाणान् समभ्ययात् ॥
स विद्ध्वा दशभिर् बाणैः साश्वयन्तारम् आर्जुनिम् ॥
उदक्रोशन् महाशब्दं तिष्ठ तिष्ठेति चाब्रवीत् ॥

madreśaṃ sāditaṃ dṛṣṭvā saubhādreṇāśugai raṇe ||
śalyād avarajaḥ kruddhaḥ kiran bāṇān samabhyayāt ||
sa viddhvā daśabhir bāṇaiḥ sāśvayantāram ārjunim ||
udakrośan mahāśabdaṃ tiṣṭha tiṣṭheti cābravīt ||

Translation

Having spied the lord of the Madras struck down by Subhadra's son with swift arrows in the fight, Shalya's younger brother, in fury, hurling arrows, attacked. Having wounded Arjuna's son together with his horses and charioteer with ten arrows, he shouted at the top of his lungs, 'Stand, stand!'
