धृतराष्ट्र उवाच
तथा तु नर्दमानं तं भीमसेनं महाबलम् ॥
मेघस्तनितनिर्घोषं के वीराः पर्यवारयन् ॥
न हि पश्याम्य् अहं तं वै त्रिषु लोकेषु संजय ॥
क्रुद्धस्य भिमसेनस्य यस् तिष्ठेद् अग्रतो रणे ॥
गदाम् उद्यच्छमानस्य कालस्येव महामृधे ॥
न हि पश्याम्य् अहं तात यस् तिष्ठेत रणाजिरे ॥
रथं रथेन यो हन्यात् कुञ्जरं कुञ्जरेण च ॥
कस् तस्य समरे स्थाता साक्षाद् अपि शतक्रतुः ॥

rathaṃ rathena yo hanyāt kuñjaraṃ kuñjareṇa ca ||
kas tasya samare sthātā sākṣād api śatakratuḥ ||
"That roaring Bhimasena, mighty, with a voice like the thunder of clouds — what heroes surrounded him? For I do not see, Sanjaya, in the three worlds, anyone who would stand before enraged Bhimasena in battle, raising his mace like Time itself in the great fight. He who strikes chariot with chariot and elephant with elephant — who could withstand him?"

Dhritarashtra finds none 'in the three worlds' who could stand before wrathful Bhima, 'like Time' with mace upraised. It is telling that the father himself confesses the invincibility of his sons' enemy. The verse teaches that righteousness makes strength unstoppable: where valor is kindled by just anger at outrage, it appears as Time itself, and even the frightened enemy finds no one able to stand against it.
