Govinda-līlāmṛta
"The Nectar of Govinda's Pastimes" — the great poem of Kṛṣṇadāsa Kavirāja, the author of the Caitanya-caritāmṛta, in twenty-three sargas. It describes one day of Rādhā and Kṛṣṇa in Vraja — from waking in a forest bower before dawn to the night's rāsa dance and sleep — through the eight parts of the day, the aṣṭa-kālīya-līlā. Each sarga opens with a verse of remembrance, "I remember Rādhā and Kṛṣṇa, who…", and the poem is meant as a support for that remembering. Morning in Yaśodā's house, going out with the cows, the meeting at Rādhā-kuṇḍa, swings, water games, the theft of the flute, all six seasons in one forest, the evening return and the night's rāsa. Kṛṣṇadāsa himself calls the poem the fruit of serving Rūpa Gosvāmī, pointed out by Raghunātha Dāsa and born in the company of Jīva Gosvāmī.
