Kṛṣṇa-līlā-stava
"In Praise of Kṛṣṇa's Pastimes" — Sanātana Gosvāmī's hymn of 432 verses with a hundred and eight obeisances. It follows the Tenth Canto of the Bhāgavatam chapter by chapter — from the earth's lament and Kṛṣṇa's birth in Kaṁsa's prison to Kaṁsa's death and the farewell to Nanda — and every episode is folded into an address to Kṛṣṇa: "You who…". One who remembers the Bhāgavatam recognises a whole chapter behind each name; the obeisance that ends the stanza turns the retelling into prayer. It opens with praise of Brahman, Paramātmā and Bhagavān and a list of the avatāras, and closes with prayers to Jagannātha and a promise: one who recites these hundred and eight obeisances understanding their sense will gain love for Kṛṣṇa's name, form and pastimes.
