Mādhava-mahotsava

"The Great Festival of Mādhava" — Jīva Gosvāmī's poem in nine ullāsas (1555) on the coronation of Rādhā as queen of Vṛndāvana. Paurṇamāsī and the elders of Vraja prepare the rite, her friends adorn her, sages and goddesses gather, and Kṛṣṇa sees his beloved on the throne of the forest. Each ullāsa is named for a state of Rādhā, from eagerness to rapture.
