Traducción

[Dhritarashtra:] "You are ruined, Duryodhana, dull-witted one, who in the assembly of the bulls among the Kurus so address a woman, O ill-bred one — above all Draupadi, a lawful wife!" Having said this, the wise Dhritarashtra, seeking the good of his kinsmen, turning away from his son's path, having pondered it all with his reason, as one who has grasped the truth, spoke with conciliation to Krishna Panchali: "Choose a boon, Panchali, whatever you desire from me; for among daughters-in-law you are to me the most excellent, devoted to dharma and honest." [Draupadi:] "If you grant me a boon, O bull among the Bharatas, I choose: let glorious Yudhishthira, who follows all dharmas, not be a slave."
