यथा च भीमो व्रजति तन् मे निगदतः शृणु ॥
बाह्वोर् बले नास्ति समो ममेति भरतर्षभ ॥
बाहू विशालौ कृत्वा तु तेन भीमो ऽपि गच्छति ॥
बाहू दर्शयमानो हि बाहुद्रविणदर्पितः ॥
चिकीर्षन् कर्म शत्रुभ्यो बाहुद्रव्यानुरूपतः ॥
प्रदिशञ् शरसंपातान् कुन्तीपुत्रो ऽर्जुनस् तदा ॥
सिकता वपन् सव्यसाची राजानम् अनुगच्छति ॥
असक्ताः सिकतास् तस्य यथा संप्रति भारत ॥
असक्तं शरवर्षाणि तथा मोक्ष्यति शत्रुषु ॥

bāhū viśālau kṛtvā tu tena bhīmo 'pi gacchati ||

cikīrṣan karma śatrubhyo bāhudravyānurūpataḥ ||
pradiśañ śarasaṃpātān kuntīputro 'rjunas tadā ||
sikatā vapan savyasācī rājānam anugacchati ||
asaktāḥ sikatās tasya yathā saṃprati bhārata ||
asaktaṃ śaravarṣāṇi tathā mokṣyati śatruṣu ||

प्रदिशञ् शर-संपातान् कुन्ती-पुत्रो ऽर्जुनस् तदाpradiśañ śara-saṃpātān kuntī-putro 'rjunas tadāpointing out the fall of [his] arrows, the son of Kunti, Arjuna, then,
सिकता वपन् सव्यसाची राजानम् अनुगच्छतिsikatā vapan savyasācī rājānam anugacchatiscattering sand, Savyasachi follows the king:
असक्ताः सिकतास् तस्य यथा संप्रति भारतasaktāḥ sikatās tasya yathā saṃprati bhārataas this sand of his is scattered [unbound] now, O Bharata,
असक्तं शर-वर्षाणि तथा मोक्ष्यति शत्रुषुasaktaṃ śara-varṣāṇi tathā mokṣyati śatruṣuso unchecked will he release showers of arrows upon the enemies."

Pointing out the fall of his arrows, the son of Kunti, Arjuna, scattering sand, Savyasachi follows the king: as his sand is now scattered unbound, O Bharata, so unchecked will he pour showers of arrows upon the enemies."
