Janamejaya said: 'When the foremost of charioteers returned from the house of Vritrahan, having mastered his weapons, what did the Parthas do next, once united with the hero Dhananjaya?' Vaishampayana said: 'In those very forests, together with Arjuna who was equal to Indra, those heroic kings rested upon that most beautiful mountain, in the pleasure-grounds of Dhaneshvara. Kiritin, the archer, ever attentive to his weapons, wandered there, gazing upon incomparable palaces and various groves. Having obtained lodging by the grace of King Vaishravana, the king's sons envied no living being, and time was gracious to them. United with Partha, they spent four years there as though it were a single night; and the six years before made the Pandavas' forest sojourn ten blessed years.'

Time near Kubera's abode becomes almost another dimension. When the brothers are together again, exile does not vanish, but its pain is softened by togetherness and blessing.
