Traducción

Let him also pay his respects to all the other sons of Dhritarashtra, all who are renowned for strength and learning, devoted to their duties, heroic, and versed in the signs of the times. When all these men have assembled together, and when the aged citizens too have gathered, let him speak words full of humility and able to serve Yudhishthira's interests. In any case, do not let them take offense, for they have seized the kingdom by force. When Yudhishthira ascended the throne, he lost himself in gambling, and they deprived him of his kingdom. This valiant Kuru, the descendant of Ajamidha, Yudhishthira, though not skilled at dice and though dissuaded by all his friends, challenged the son of the king of Gandhara, a skilled dice-player, to a match. At that place there were then thousands of dice-players whom Yudhishthira could have defeated in a match. Yet, heedless of all of them, he challenged the son of Subala and lost.
