And having reached the sea that stretched across many yojanas, she came upon a great island covered with various trees and plants. There she beheld a beautiful lake of heavenly aspect, thronged with birds, a hundred yojanas long and just as wide. And on it, O descendant of Bharata, bloomed heavenly lotuses of five colors, by the thousands, hummed over by bees. In the midst of that lake stood a great and lovely cluster of lotuses, and at its center rose a great white lotus upon a tall stalk. Piercing the lotus stalk together with Shachi, she found Indra there, hidden within its fibers. And seeing her lord lying there in a minute form, Shachi too assumed a minute form, and so did the goddess of divination. Then Indra's queen began to praise him, recounting his famous deeds of old.
