Traducción

Here is Krishna, who bestows the fruits of virtue, wise, versed in statecraft, prudent, who has served the brahmins, who knows all things and gives counsel to various mighty kings. Let renowned Krishna say whether I shall deserve blame if I abandon every thought of peace, and whether, should I go to war, I must forsake the duties of my own order — for Krishna seeks the welfare of both sides. These Satyakis, these Chedis, Andhakas, Vrishnis, Bhojas, Kukuras, and Srinjayas, following Krishna’s counsel, slay their enemies and gladden their friends. The Vrishnis and Andhakas, led by Ugrasena and guided by Krishna, have become like Indra — vigorous, devoted to truth, mighty and joyful. Babhru, the king of Kashi, having gained Krishna, who fulfills all desires, as his brother, and on whom Krishna pours forth all the blessings of life as clouds pour rain upon all earthly beings when the hot season has ended, attained the highest prosperity. O lord, so great is this Krishna! Know him to be the great judge of the rightness or wrongness of all deeds. Krishna is dear to us and is the most illustrious of men. I shall never disregard what Krishna says.’
