किम् अहं पूर्वम् एवेह भवता नाभिचोदितः ॥
उपायो ऽत्र महान् अस्ति येनैतद् उपपद्यते ॥
तद् एष ऋषभो नाम पर्वतः सागरोरसि ॥
अत्र विश्रम्य भुक्त्वा च निवर्तिष्याव गालव ॥

The resolution begins with Garuda's simple question: why did Galava not speak of his need earlier. What seemed a dead end turns out to be solvable once the disciple stops shutting himself within despair and accepts help. Mount Rishabha becomes a place of rest and turning: before continuing to fulfill the vow, one must regain clarity and choose the right path.
