Traducción

'"By these two — desire and anger — the gods closed the gate of heaven against one who wished to go to heaven, when, in his fear, attachment, desire, and anger grew within him. The lord of the earth who knows how to rightly conquer desire, anger, greed, hypocrisy, and arrogance is born to rule the earth. A king who desires profit, dharma, and the defeat of his enemies should always be engaged in restraining his senses. Whoever, overcome by desire or anger, behaves falsely toward his own people or toward others, will have no helpers. Together with the united Pandavas — greatly wise, heroic, and destroyers of enemies — you, my child, will happily enjoy the earth."'
