Traducción

Having rebuked those kings, having despised Suyodhana as though he were a blade of grass, having again and again frightened Radheya and the son of Subala, I spoke repeatedly of the inferiority of the sons of Dhritarashtra and again and again reproached them. Having set all the kings at discord with words and counsel, I then spoke once more a concession joined with conciliation, for the preservation of the Kuru line's unity and for the sake of the matter at hand: "Let all the Pandavas, these children of Dhritarashtra, Bhishma, and Vidura, abandon their pride and remain subordinate. Let them grant you the kingdom and themselves cease to be rulers. As the king, the son of Ganga, and Vidura have said, so let it be."
