Traducción

'I shall fight in earnest, protecting your army, O king, as is proper according to the science of war. Let the fever of your mind depart.' Duryodhana said: 'O son of Ganga, I have no fear even of all the gods and asuras gathered together, O mighty-armed one; this I tell you truly. What then need be said, when you, the unassailable one, are established as commander, and Drona, the tiger among men who delights in battle, stands beside you? With you two, the foremost of men, standing together, victory is certain for me, O best of the Kurus; even the kingdom of the gods would not be hard to win. But I wish to know in full the number of the chariot-warriors of the enemy and of our own side, and likewise of the atirathas, O Kaurava.'
