Traducción

Bhishma said: Then at dawn, O king of kings, when the pure sun had risen, my battle with Bhargava began again. Standing on his careening chariot, Rama, the foremost of strikers, poured down showers of arrows upon me as Shakra pours rain upon an unmoving mountain. By that shower of arrows my charioteer, my friend, was struck; he fell upon the seat of the chariot, plunging my mind into despair. Then this charioteer of mine fell into a deep swoon and, struck by the blows of arrows, collapsed to the ground and lost consciousness. Then, tormented by Rama's arrow, the charioteer, as if in a single instant, gave up his life, O king of kings, and then fear entered into me as well.
