संजय उवाच
एवम् उक्त्वा ततो राजन् महायोगेश्वरो हरिः ॥
दर्शयाम् आस पार्थाय परमं रूपम् ऐश्वरम् ॥
अनेकवक्त्रनयनम् अनेकाद्भुतदर्शनम् ॥
अनेकदिव्याभरणं दिव्यानेकोद्यतायुधम् ॥
दिव्यमाल्याम्बरधरं दिव्यगन्धानुलेपनम् ॥
सर्वाश्चर्यमयं देवम् अनन्तं विश्वतोमुखम् ॥
दिवि सूर्यसहस्रस्य भवेद् युगपद् उत्थिता ॥
यदि भाः सदृशी सा स्याद् भासस् तस्य महात्मनः ॥
तत्रैकस्थं जगत् कृत्स्नं प्रविभक्तम् अनेकधा ॥
अपश्यद् देवदेवस्य शरीरे पाण्डवस् तदा ॥
ततः स विस्मयाविष्टो हृष्टरोमा धनंजयः ॥
प्रणम्य शिरसा देवं कृताञ्जलिर् अभाषत ॥
saṃjaya uvāca
evam uktvā tato rājan mahāyogeśvaro hariḥ ||
darśayām āsa pārthāya paramaṃ rūpam aiśvaram ||
anekavaktranayanam anekādbhutadarśanam ||
anekadivyābharaṇaṃ divyānekodyatāyudham ||
divyamālyāmbaradharaṃ divyagandhānulepanam ||
sarvāścaryamayaṃ devam anantaṃ viśvatomukham ||
divi sūryasahasrasya bhaved yugapad utthitā ||
yadi bhāḥ sadṛśī sā syād bhāsas tasya mahātmanaḥ ||
tatraikasthaṃ jagat kṛtsnaṃ pravibhaktam anekadhā ||
apaśyad devadevasya śarīre pāṇḍavas tadā ||
tataḥ sa vismayāviṣṭo hṛṣṭaromā dhanaṃjayaḥ ||
praṇamya śirasā devaṃ kṛtāñjalir abhāṣata ||
Sanjaya said: "Having spoken thus, O king, Hari, the great Lord of yoga, showed to the son of Pritha His supreme sovereign form: with many mouths and eyes, with many wondrous sights, with many divine ornaments and raised celestial weapons; clad in divine garlands and garments, anointed with heavenly fragrances, full of every wonder, boundless, facing every direction. If a thousand suns were to rise at once in the sky, their light could only hint at the splendor of that great being. Then the son of Pandu saw within the body of the God of gods the whole universe, gathered in one place and divided in countless ways. Seized with wonder, his hair standing on end, Dhananjaya bowed his head to the God and, with joined palms, spoke."

Sanjaya conveys not merely a spectacle but the impossibility of ordinary comparison: even a thousand suns can only gesture toward the brilliance of this form. The world does not vanish before Krishna — it turns out to be within Him.
