Traducción

Shri Bhagavan said: "Fearlessness, purity of heart, steadfastness in the yoga of knowledge, giving, self-restraint, sacrifice, study of the sacred texts, austerity, uprightness, nonviolence, truthfulness, freedom from anger, renunciation, peace, absence of slander, compassion for beings, freedom from greed, gentleness, modesty, steadiness, vigor, forgiveness, fortitude, purity, freedom from malice, and absence of excessive pride — all these, O Bharata, belong to one who is born with the divine nature. Hypocrisy, arrogance, self-conceit, anger, harshness, and ignorance, O son of Pritha, belong to one who is born with the demoniac nature. The divine nature leads to liberation, while the demoniac is held to be the cause of bondage. Do not grieve, O Pandava: you were born with the divine nature."
