Translation

If the sons of Dhritarashtra coolly reflect upon the words I shall speak — words full of wisdom, in accord with righteousness, and of great import — then the peace that is my goal will be achieved, and the Kauravas too will honor me as mediator. But if they should wish to do me harm, then I tell you that all the kings of the earth, united together, will be unable to withstand me, like a herd of deer unable to stand before an enraged lion.'
