Translation

"O Keshava, I wish to hear their words, O Govinda, O mighty one. Act so, dear one, that the fatal hour may not arrive, for you are our path, O Krishna, you are our protector and our preceptor." Vasudeva said: "Listen, O king, to how King Suyodhana was addressed in the assembly, amid the Kurus; learn this from me, O lord of kings. When my words had been heard, the son of Dhritarashtra laughed. Then Bhishma, greatly enraged, spoke these words: 'Duryodhana, understand this that I say to you for the sake of the family; having heard it, O tiger among kings, do what is good for your own family.'"
