Translation

'Victory is an attribute of Krishna and follows in the wake of Madhava. Both victory and humble submission before him are his special qualities. Govinda of infinite splendor, undisturbed before hosts of enemies, is the most primordial Purusha; where Krishna is, there is victory. Long ago, this Hari, having become Vaikuntha of unfailing arrows, shook the gods and asuras and said: "Who shall be victorious?" Those who answered, "We shall win, following Krishna," were victorious. By his grace, Indra and the other gods obtained the three worlds. Therefore I see no cause for anxiety for you here, O Bharata, since the lord of the gods, the all-sustainer, desires your victory.'
