ते सेने शिबिरं गत्वा न्यविशेतां विशां पते ॥
यथाभागं यथान्यायं यथागुल्मं च सर्वशः ॥
कृत्वावहारं सैन्यानां द्रोणः परमदुर्मनाः ॥
दुर्योधनम् अभिप्रेक्ष्य सव्रीडम् इदम् अब्रवीत् ॥

te sene śibiraṃ gatvā nyaviśetāṃ viśāṃ pate ||
yathābhāgaṃ yathānyāyaṃ yathāgulmaṃ ca sarvaśaḥ ||
kṛtvāvahāraṃ sainyānāṃ droṇaḥ paramadurmanāḥ ||
duryodhanam abhiprekṣya savrīḍam idam abravīt ||

Translation

Those two armies, having gone to their camps, settled down to rest, O lord of the people, everywhere by companies, by rank, and by sentry posts. Having accomplished the withdrawal of his troops, Drona, utterly downcast in spirit, turning his gaze upon Duryodhana, spoke this word with shame.
