हि तत् कुरुते संख्ये कार्तवीर्यमस् त्व् पि
थी यत् कुरुते कृष्ण साथिर् त्नम् स्थितः
वासुदेव उवाच
सारेष्व् पि लोकेषु र्वेषु थाविधः
रारः कश् चिद् था पार्थो नंयः

na hi tat kurute saṃkhye rtaryasamas tv api ||
rathī yat kurute kṛṣṇa rathir yatnam āsthitaḥ ||
vāsudeva uvāca
mareṣv api lokeṣu sarveṣu na tathāvidhaḥ ||
śasanadharaḥ kaś cid yathā rtho dhanaṃjayaḥ ||

Translation

"For not even a chariot-warrior equal to Kartavirya accomplishes in battle what he accomplishes, O Krishna, when the charioteer applies himself with diligence. And in all the worlds, even among the gods, there is no bow-bearer like Partha Dhananjaya."
