Translation

He, being showered in battle by Drauni, furious in the fight, the son of Panchala then terrified him with words: 'You do not know my vow, nor your own brahmin origin. For by me, once I have slain Drona, you are to be slain, most foolish one. In this very night that has come, not yet grown light, most foolish one, having slain your father now, I shall then slay you too in the clash. Whatever enmity you bear toward the Parthas, whatever devotion to the Kauravas — show it now, steady yourself; you will not escape from me alive.'
