Translation

Hurled with terrible speed, struck down by Karna's arrows, like the design of an unlucky man, it fell uselessly to the ground. And Ghatotkacha, enraged, seeing the disc struck down, showered Karna with arrows, as Rahu covers the sun. And the son of the suta, unshaken, with the might of Rudra, Upendra, and Indra, swiftly covered Ghatotkacha's chariot with feathered arrows. Then the gold-bound mace of the enraged Ghatotkacha, hurled, whirling — it too, struck down by Karna's arrows, fell.
