Traducción

Vaishampayana said: "Then, with his upper garment slipping down, sweating, trembling, leaning on his staff, Adhiratha entered the arena, as though calling out to his son. Seeing him, casting aside his bow, bound by reverence for his father, Karna, his head still wet from the anointing, bowed to him with his head. And Karna, covering his father's feet with the hem of his garment, while the father, in agitation, spoke with full-hearted feeling: 'Son!' — and, embracing his head, wet from the anointing as king of Anga, melted with love, he drenched it again with tears."
