Traducción

"Seeing the sons of Pandu filled with virtues, the citizens, having gathered, said at the crossroads and in the assemblies: 'Dhritarashtra, whose eye is wisdom, did not obtain the kingdom before because of his blindness; how then shall he become king? And Bhishma, faithful to his great vow, having once renounced the kingdom, will now never accept it. Therefore let us now anoint the eldest Pandava -- young, yet mature in character, truthful, compassionate; for he, knowing dharma, will honor both Bhishma and Dhritarashtra together with his sons, granting them manifold comforts.'"
