न मे वाग् अनृतं प्राह नाधर्मे धीयते मतिः ॥
वर्तते हि मनो मे ऽत्र नैषो ऽधर्मः कथं चन ॥
श्रूयते हि पुराणे ऽपि जटिला नाम गौतमी ॥
ऋषीन् अध्यासितवती सप्त धर्मभृतां वर ॥

yudhiṣṭhira uvāca
na me vāg anṛtaṃ prāha nādharme dhīyate matiḥ ||
vartate hi mano me 'tra naiṣo 'dharmaḥ kathaṃ cana ||
śrūyate hi purāṇe 'pi jaṭilā nāma gautamī ||
ṛṣīn adhyāsitavatī sapta dharmabhṛtāṃ vara ||

Traducción

Yudhishthira said: 'My speech has not spoken untruth, and my mind does not rest on unrighteousness; for my mind inclines toward this — this is not unrighteousness at all. For we hear also in the Purana that a wife named Jatila, of the line of Gautama, cohabited with seven sages, O best of the upholders of dharma.'
