आचार्यम् ऋत्विजं चैव संयुक्तं च युधिष्ठिर ॥
स्नातकं च प्रियं चाहुः षड् अर्घ्यार्हान् नृपं तथा ॥
एतान् अर्हान् अभिगतान् आहुः संवत्सरोषितान् ॥
त इमे कालपूगस्य महतो ऽस्मान् उपागताः ॥
एषाम् एकैकशो राजन्न् अर्घ्यम् आनीयताम् इति ॥
अथ चैषां वरिष्ठाय समर्थायोपनीयताम् ॥

snātakaṃ ca priyaṃ cāhuḥ ṣaḍ arghyārhān nṛpaṃ tathā ||

ta ime kālapūgasya mahato 'smān upāgatāḥ ||
eṣām ekaikaśo rājann arghyam ānīyatām iti ||
atha caiṣāṃ variṣṭhāya samarthāyopanīyatām ||

Traducción

"The teacher, the officiating priest, the kinsman, O Yudhishthira, the snataka, the friend, and the king -- these six they call worthy of the arghya. These, having arrived and being worthy, are so called [also] when they have dwelt [with us] a year; here they are, having come to us after the passing of a great span of time. To each of them, O king, let the arghya be brought; or else let it be offered [first] to the foremost, the most worthy of them."
