Traducción

"Buy these bright-tailed [peacock-like] Pandavas at the price of a crow, tigers at the price of a jackal; preserve the Pandavas, O king, do not drown in the ocean of grief. For the sake of the family let a man be sacrificed, for the sake of the village — the family, for the sake of the country — the village, for the sake of oneself [the Atman] — the earth. 'The all-knowing, who knows all conditions, who strikes fear into all enemies' — thus spoke Kavya [Shukra] to the great asuras at the abandoning of Jambha."
