Traducción

"A certain man, out of greed, tormented the gold-spitting forest birds that had settled in his house, O king. Blinded by greed, for the sake of gold, O scourge of foes, he destroyed both the future and the present good at once. Desiring a momentary gain, do not harm the Pandavas, O bull of the Bharatas; having lost your senses, you will repent afterward, like that bird-killer."
