Traducción

"Having returned, I heard how this evil-minded king of Marttikavata had acted in my absence. Seeing the ravaging of the Anartas, the challenge made to me, and the swollen arrogance of the evildoer, I resolved in wrath to kill him. I set out against Saubha and, in pursuit, saw it at the ocean's whirlpool. Blowing my conch Panchajanya, I challenged Shalva and stood ready for battle. For quite some time I fought there with the Danavas; all of them were subdued by me and struck down upon the ground. This, O mighty-armed one, is the task on account of which I did not come then. But the moment I heard of Hastinapura and the game born of misconduct, I hastened to you."
