Yudhishthira said: "O Vasudeva, mighty-armed and great in wisdom, tell in detail how Saubha was destroyed. I am not satisfied with this account."

Yudhishthira's request shows that listening to the deeds of Krishna is not idle curiosity. In exile, amid his losses, he seeks support in the account of how the Lord protects his own and cuts down pride.
