ततः वनगताः पार्थाः सायाह्ने सह कृष्णया उपविष्टाः कथाः चक्रुः दुःखशोकपरायणाःtataḥ vanagatāḥ pārthāḥ sāyāhne saha kṛṣṇayā upaviṣṭāḥ kathāḥ cakruḥ duḥkhaśokaparāyaṇāḥthen the Parthas, having gone to the forest, sat in the evening together with Krishna, and talked, absorbed in pain and grief

सुखोचितम् अदुःखार्हम् दुरात्मा ससुहृद्गणः ईदृशम् दुःखम् आनीय मोदते पापपूरुषःsukhocitam aduḥkhārham durātmā sasuhṛdgaṇaḥ īdṛśam duḥkham ānīya modate pāpapūruṣaḥthe evil-souled sinner rejoices with his band of friends, having brought such suffering upon you, who deserve happiness and do not deserve sorrow
