Traducción

Draupadi said: "In the world there are sairandhris -- unattached serving-women who live in others' households, O Bharata; people are certain that no other kind of woman lives this way. I will say that I am a sairandhri, skilled in dressing hair, and I will live guarding myself, since you ask me. I will present myself in service to Sudeshna, the renowned wife of the king; once I have come to her, she will protect me. Let there be no such grief for you."
