Traducción

You fail to understand this out of your own folly. I myself do not wish for war, nor do Vahlika, Bhishma, Drona, Ashvatthaman, Sanjaya, Somadatta, Shalya, Kripa, Satyavrata, Purumitra, or Bhurishravas — indeed, none of them desires war. Truly, those warriors on whom the Kauravas will have to rely when the enemy overtakes them do not approve of war. O child, let this be acceptable to you. Alas, you do not seek it of your own will, but it is Karna, the malicious Duhshasana, and Shakuni, son of Subala, who are leading you toward it.' Duryodhana said: 'I challenge the Pandavas to battle, relying neither on myself, nor on Drona, nor on Ashvatthaman, nor on Sanjaya, nor on Vikarna, nor on the Kambojas, nor on Kripa, nor on Vahlika, nor on Satyavrata, nor on Purumitra, nor on Bhurishravas, nor on any others of your company.
