मध्ये राज्ञाम् अहं तत्र प्रातिपौरुषिकान् गुणान् ॥
तव संकीर्तयिष्यामि ये च तस्य व्यतिक्रमाः ॥
ब्रुवतस् तत्र मे वाक्यं धर्मार्थसहितं हितम् ॥
निशम्य पार्थिवाः सर्वे नानाजनपदेश्वराः ॥
त्वयि संप्रतिपत्स्यन्ते धर्मात्मा सत्यवाग् इति ॥
तस्मिंश् चाधिगमिष्यन्ति यथा लोभाद् अवर्तत ॥
गर्हयिष्यामि चैवैनं पौरजानपदेष्व् अपि ॥
वृद्धबालान् उपादाय चातुर्वर्ण्यसमागमे ॥
शमं चेद् याचमानस् त्वं न धर्मं तत्र लप्स्यसे ॥
कुरून् विगर्हयिष्यन्ति धृतराष्ट्रं च पार्थिवाः ॥

madhye rājñām ahaṃ tatra prātipauruṣikān guṇān ||
tava saṃkīrtayiṣyāmi ye ca tasya vyatikramāḥ ||
bruvatas tatra me vākyaṃ dharmārthasahitaṃ hitam ||
niśamya pārthivāḥ sarve nānājanapadeśvarāḥ ||
tvayi saṃpratipatsyante dharmātmā satyavāg iti ||
tasmiṃś cādhigamiṣyanti yathā lobhād avartata ||
garhayiṣyāmi caivainaṃ paurajānapadeṣv api ||
vṛddhabālān upādāya cāturvarṇyasamāgame ||
śamaṃ ced yācamānas tvaṃ na dharmaṃ tatra lapsyase ||
kurūn vigarhayiṣyanti dhṛtarāṣṭraṃ ca pārthivāḥ ||

पौरजानपदेष्व्paurajānapadeṣvamong the townsfolk and countryfolk; in the city and the region
