Therefore I shall tell you, O delight of the Vrishnis, of my valor and unrivaled might. Though it is always shameful to speak of one's own prowess, still, pierced by your unfriendly reproach, I will speak of my own strength. Behold, O Krishna, the sky and the earth, which are immovable, boundless, and infinite, which serve as a refuge, and in which these countless beings are born. If in wrath they should suddenly collide like two hills, I alone, with my own hands, could part them, together with all their moving and unmoving things. Look at the joints of my mace-like arms. I have found no man who could free himself, once caught within their grasp -- not Himavat, not the ocean, not even the mighty wielder of the thunderbolt himself.
