And the terraces and balconies of the houses were so packed with ladies that the houses nearly collapsed under the weight. And, honored by the Kauravas, listening to various sweet speeches and responding to everyone's greetings, each according to what he deserved, Keshava walked along the street, casting his glances upon all. And at last, when Keshava reached the court of the Kurus, his attendants loudly blew their conches and trumpets and filled the palace with that roar. And at this, the whole assembly of kings, possessed of immeasurable prowess, trembled with delight in anticipation of soon beholding Krishna. And, hearing the rumble of his chariot, rolling like the deep peal of rain clouds, the kings knew that Krishna was near, and the hair on their bodies stood on end with delight. And, reaching the gate of the court, Sauri, that bull among the Sattvatas, descending from his chariot, which resembled the peak of Kailasa, entered the court, which looked like a mass of newly risen clouds, shone with beauty, and resembled the very abode of great Indra.
