Traducción

Janamejaya said: 'Having heard that Apageya, the great-souled Bhishma, the best of weapon-bearers, grandfather of the Bharatas and banner of all earthly lords, equal to Brihaspati in wisdom and to the earth in patience, like the ocean in depth and like Himavat in steadfastness, like Prajapati in generosity and like the sun in radiance, like Mahendra shattering his foes with showers of arrows, had been consecrated for a long time to the terrible sacrifice of battle, full of arrows and hair-raising in its dread, what did the mighty-armed King Yudhishthira, knower of all dharmas, say? What did Bhimasena and Arjuna, or Krishna, decide?'
