Traducción

He, that great chariot-warrior, once at Kashipuri conquered on a single chariot all the assembled kings, guardians of the earth. Born of the Vasus, he fought in battle with Rama, son of Jamadagni, and was not defeated by Parashurama; yet today he has been struck down by Shikhandin. In valor he was equal to Mahendra, in steadfastness like unto Himavan, in depth like the ocean, and in forbearance equal to the earth.
