Traducción

"The light residing in the sun, which illumines the whole world, and the light of the moon and of fire — know this light to be Mine. Having entered the earth, I sustain beings by My vigor; becoming the soma, the essence of taste, I nourish all the herbs. Having become Vaishvanara, I dwell in the bodies of the living; joined with prana and apana, I digest the fourfold food. I am seated in the heart of every being; from Me come memory, knowledge, and forgetfulness. It is I alone who am to be known through all the Vedas; I am the maker of the Vedanta and the knower of the Vedas."
