Traducción

Between them arose a battle like that of Vritra and Vasava; all your warriors and the great chariot-warriors of the Pandavas watched it. The two, having met in the great battle, blazed with wrath against each other; both mighty, O great king, with eyes reddened by fury, they gazed at one another as if equal in battle to the fire of time's end. Their dreadful encounter had a bitter beginning, as in the battle of gods and asuras, the clash of Shakra and Shambara.'
