Traducción

"Come, come, my opponent - you have vied with me; if you had not come to me, surely no good would have befallen you. You are Kaunteya, not Radheya: this is known to me from Narada, from Krishna-Dvaipayana, and from Keshava, without doubt. I bear no hatred toward you, child; I tell you the truth. The harsh words I spoke were only to temper your power. My thought was that you hated the Pandavas without cause. That is why, son of the Sun, I so often reproached you sternly. I know your valor in battle, unbearable to your foes, your piety, your courage, and your highest perfection in generosity. Among men, O godlike one, there is no one equal to you. Thinking of the difference in lineage, I always spoke to you harshly. In archery, in drawing the heavy bow, in swiftness and in the power of weapons, you are equal to Phalguna and to the magnanimous Krishna."
