धनेश्वरगृहस्थानां पाण्डवानां समागमम् ॥
शक्रेण य इमं विद्वान् अधीयीत समाहितः ॥
संवत्सरं ब्रह्मचारी नियतः संशितव्रतः ॥
स जीवेत निराबाधः सुसुखी शरदां शतम् ॥

Vaishampayana said: 'Whoever, with focused attention, studies this account of the meeting of the Pandavas — who dwelt at Dhaneshvara's abode — with Shakra, having lived a year as a brahmacharin, restrained and firm in his vow, shall live free of disease and happy for a hundred autumns.'
