अनुवाद

'This fearsome, rousing account, the supreme means of increasing one's vigor, a minister should recite to a king who is sinking in spirit and hard-pressed by enemies. This tale is called "Victory"; it should be heard by one who seeks to conquer. Having heard it, he swiftly conquers the earth and crushes his enemies. It is also a pumsavana, a rite that begets a hero: if a pregnant woman hears it often, she will surely bring forth a hero — valiant in learning, valiant in austerity, valiant in self-restraint, an ascetic, shining with sacred splendor and esteemed by the praise of the virtuous; radiant, endowed with strength, greatly blessed, a mighty chariot warrior, bold, unassailable, a conqueror and unconquered.'
