अनुवाद

'Especially among us the signs of destruction are visible: your army is struck by blazing meteors. Your draft animals are joyless and seem to weep, O lord of the people; vultures surround your troops on every side. The city is no longer as it was, nor is the royal dwelling; jackals with ill-boding howls make for the blazing quarter. Carry out the word of your father, your mother, and us, who wish you well. On you, O mighty-armed one, depend both peace and war. If you do not heed the word of your friends, O crusher of enemies, you will suffer when you see your army tormented by the arrows of Partha.'
